🌍 Why Red Coast Base?

There's a story we tell here — about an engineer in Albania.

He was probably the only person in his entire country who had read "The Three-Body Problem." No one around him understood why he was obsessed with a Chinese sci-fi novel. He felt like a freak.

Then he found this website. He saw people from all over the world discussing the same questions he had been asking himself for years. His hands trembled as he scrolled through the forum.

He was no longer alone.

If you're reading this, you might be that engineer.

You might be:

- An American student whose friends don't understand why you're obsessed with a "Chinese" book

- A Japanese office worker who stays up late reading Three-Body analysis

- A Brazilian reader who discovered Three-Body through Netflix and wants to go deeper

- A German engineer who sees the Dark Forest theory everywhere in international politics

- A Chinese fan who wants to know what international readers think about your favorite book

This site is built for you.

What we offer that other sites don't:

✅ Bilingual content — Every post in Chinese AND English

✅ Cross-cultural perspective — See how fans from different countries read the same book

✅ Encyclopedia — Characters, concepts, timeline — all in one place

✅ Community — Not users. Comrades.

Our mission

> Give Three-Body fans a home. No matter where you are in the world. No matter what language you speak. No matter if you've finished the trilogy or just started Book 1.

> Here, you are not alone. Here, you are a comrade.

Welcome to Red Coast Base. The Albanian engineer is here. So are millions of others.

Starting today, we are comrades.
