The Three-Body trilogy created numerous unforgettable characters, each with unique charm and profound symbolic meaning.

Luo Ji: From a cynical academic bum to Wallfacer, then to Swordholder — his transformation is the most stunning character arc in the entire series. He bore the weight of humanity's fate, standing alone in 54 years of deterrence standoff. His line "I speak to the Trisolaran world" is the turning point of the entire series.

Ye Wenjie: She is both the source of catastrophe and the seed of hope. In that special era, she experienced too much betrayal and hurt, and ultimately her disappointment in humanity led her to send that fatal message to the universe. But she also pointed Luo Ji toward the path of cosmic sociology. She is a heartbreakingly complex character.
