1. The Droplet destroying the human fleet (Doomsday Battle)

"What has your destruction to do with me?"

Two thousand human warships, the concentrated display of human technological power. And a mirror-smooth droplet destroyed them all in a few minutes in the most elegant yet cruel way. This passage conveys not the tragedy of battle, but the bone-deep helplessness when facing higher civilizations. Everything humanity prides itself on is just a pile of refined garbage on a cosmic scale.

2. Luo Ji's deterrence against Trisolaris

"I speak to the Trisolaran world!"

From this moment on, the momentum of the entire book changes completely. A wallfacer misunderstood as a madman by the whole world, pointing a gun at himself but holding the entire Trisolaran civilization hostage. The snow project, fifty-four coordinates, the cradle system — he spent fifty-four years setting up this trap. The most touching part is when he says to the humanity he protected: "I missed nothing."

3. The 2D-ization of the Solar System

"Look, Mommy — I'm going to become a painting!"

This is the most cruel yet poetic scene in the entire book. The entire Solar System is 2D-ized, including humans and their home. The innocent words of children form the sharpest contrast with the brutality of destruction. People of the 3D world become shadows in a painting, forever frozen on a 2D scroll. This literary presentation of dimensional reduction is one of Liu Cixin's most brilliant creations.

4. Zhang Beihai hijacking Natural Selection

"Natural Selection, engage! Maximum acceleration!"

Zhang Beihai accomplished the most impossible mission with the least resources and the shortest time. The "Fifth Wallfacer" finally revealed his true intention — not victory, but escape. He didn't need anyone's understanding, not even victory; he just wanted to preserve a spark for humanity. At that moment, he was both lonely and great.

5. Decoding Yun Tianming's fairytales

Three fairytales — The New Painter of the Kingdom, the Sea of Gluttony, and Prince Deep Water — correspond to curvature propulsion, black domains, and dual-vector foils. When humanity realized from AA's decoding that these fairytales contained crucial information to save humanity, the shock was multiplied. In complete isolation, Yun Tianming accomplished the greatest mission in the most romantic way.
