Could Wallfacer plans really fool the Sophon?

Sophon can monitor everything on Earth - all conversations, text, electronic signals. The core of the Wallfacer Project is exploiting Trisolarans' opaque thinking.

But I wonder: even though Sophon can't read minds, it can monitor every move, resource allocation, and project progress. For example, with Luo Ji's curse, when Sophon sees stellar coordinates being broadcast, wouldn't it realize this is a deterrence test?

Maybe the Wallfacer Project's real purpose wasn't to fool Sophon, but to give humanity a psychological anchor?
